“Galust Sahakyan had better make predictions about the development of the country, make predictions about when their criminal regime will be played out and in the end realize that they are leading the country to perdition. It is none of Galust Sahakyan’s business to talk about the Armenian National Congress (ANC),” Karapet Rubinyan, a former member of the ANC and a former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, replied to a question of www.aravot.am in this way.
Talking about the fact that Davit Shahnazaryan, an ANC central office worker, had ceased his political activities in the ANC during a conversation with www.aravot.am the other day, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) deputy chairman Galust Sahakyan said that the ANC faced “natural dissolution,” since a force that suffered one defeat after another couldn’t exist for long.
As opposed to the explanations made by the ANC central office that Davit Shahnazaryan had left the ANC for personal reasons and according to an agreement, he would make those public, Davit Shahnazaryan’s interview made the following impression on Karapet Rubinyan, “He openly talked about the reasons for ceasing his activities in the ANC and those are first of all the recent developments related to the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). Secondly the ANC has deviated from the goals it declared at the beginning and presents things that have nothing to do with those goals as achievements.”
