In leg with numerous summer festivals, movie, music awards and some other acknowledged cultural events, summer carnivals hit many of the European countries and turn into a well-accustomed traditional event, like the one in Latin American countries.

And gradually, European cities break the stereotype of carnival-in-Rio and welcome huge flows of tourists in the midst of most striking European and even North American fests. Asian countries are on the queue to get engrossed into this delightful motion.

Among those carnivals is Rotterdam Zomercarnaval, which is annually held in July. This year the start of the carnival will be heralded on the last days of midsummer month.
