One of those who have suffered from the activities of Khoran, a religious organization, is in the mental house of Sovetashen. Sevak Hovhannisyan, a co-chairman of the United Youth League (UYL), informed about this at Yerku Yeres (two faces), a press club, today. “Lately a woman contacted us and communicated that her son had started to participate in the meetings of Khoran under the influence of her daughter-in-law, which had caused mental disorder after a short while,” he added. During a conversation with www.aravot.am, Sevak Hovhannisyan said that according to the information gotten from members of Khoran, Khoran was financed by John Paisley, a former US congressman, who is famous for his anti-Armenian speeches, denying the Genocide, in particular, “The informers had learned it from the phone conversation between Hrachya Khachatryan, the head of Khoran, and Paisley. Paisley supported Khachatryan to found Khoran and every month the latter adds 10% of the money collected from the members of the organization to his account. I cannot say for sure how much, but when they offered me a bribe, they said they would give me as much as I asked.”
Hovhannisyan added that Khoran had threatened to harm UYL members again.
