“You Flight of Thought, What Do You Have to Do With Parties, Who Are You?” to the Prime Minister

August 20,2012 14:10

“A court session will take place soon and it is certain that Sedrak Achemyan has gone to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s office before the session,” Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, a member of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) commented on the meeting between Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Sedrak Achemyan, the chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the SDHP during a conversation with www.aravot.am today.

According to the official statement, they met to discuss the situation inSyriaand the problems of Syrian Armenians. However, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan is convinced that this meeting was related to the court session regarding the SDHP registration to take place on August 24. In his words, “The issue of illegal registration is disputed in the court. The so-called Ministry of Justice has done an unprecedented thing. They register absolutely falsely, only because Sedrak Achemyan is pro-government, that’s it. There is no legal system inArmenia. I don’t blame Sedrak Achemyan, our Ministry of Justice is in the most disgusting position here, since it is confirmed that everything is false and it registers Sedrak Achemyan’s party based on false documentation.”

Talking about the Prime Minister, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan stated, “I will just give one piece of advice to that so-called Tigran Sargsyan. According to their statistical data, 500 thousand people are hungry inArmenia, what an economist, what a flight of thought. That flight of thought had better take action to develop the economy, when there are so many hungry people in the republic. What do you have to do with parties, who are you? This guy did the same thing to the Ramgavar Party. The Ramgavar Party members said the same thing that their party had been destroyed by him. Now he tries to solve the problems of this party, that party. Pal, you have different problems to solve. Sober up, know that you are the Prime Minister, there are people to deal with those issues, don’t go here and there, you flight of thought.”

In response to our question whether he didn’t believe at all that the Prime Minister and Sedrak Achemyan met to discuss the problems of Syrian Armenians, he said, “Sedrak Achemyan met with that ‘flight of thought’ a short while ago too, a party was registered at once and Perkuperkyan found himself in an awkward position, because he was compelled to put his name on those false documents. He will be held accountable tomorrow. Say, he goes to the Prime Minister’s office, why he doesn’t take that boy, Perkuperkyan, with him? Because there will be problems if he takes Perkuperkyan with him. That boy has nothing to say. It is the man who writes a letter to the Ministry of Justice and writes his passport data under it, can you imagine that? In the same manner, he could have written, for example, the results of urine analysis; all the same, the Ministry of Justice would have accepted it, that falsification. Perkuperkyan doesn’t understand that the moment Uncle Serzhik is not in power anymore, he will be held accountable with his Ministry of Justice. It is the Ministry of Justice only nominally, frankly speaking, may that kind of justice be damned.”
