Because of the Azerbaijani Shooting the Gas Pipe of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur Has Caught on Fire

On the evening of August 21, the Azerbaijani troops shot at villages of Movses, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur and Aygepar, the region of Tavush, with large-caliber machineguns. Ludwig Aperyan, the headman of the Movses village, informed that the shooting had lasted for around 4 hours, from 20:00 through 24:00. As a result of that, the roofs of around ten houses in the village have been damaged; the windows of a few houses have been broken.

We have been informed from the village administration of Karmiraghbyur that the shooting here lasted from 21:00 through 24:00. The Azerbaijani bullets hit the roofs and doors of the houses.

At around 21:30, because of the Azerbaijani shooting, the gas pipe of the village caught on fire, the gas supply was ceased by the gas company and the fire was put out.

Andranik Aydinyan, the headman of Aygepar, informed that their village had been shot from 22:00 through 23:00. As a result of that, the roofs of 4 apartment blocks and 25 houses have been damaged. The shooting of the Azerbaijani troops penetrated the roofs of the houses and the walls of the apartments. The Azerbaijani military forces stopped shooting at the bordering villages after our military forces had returned fire.
