Arpine Martirosyan, a candidate for membership in the council of the community of Shahumyan, the region of Lori, and the chairman of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (PANM) youth union in Vanadzor, claims that Edik Manukyan, a candidate for the leader of the same community, pasted election posters in a place of public catering and a state building
two days ago, in the period of election campaign, violating the interests of villagers, their right to freedom of choice by that.
“Village headman Manukyan has pasted his election posters in a shop and the Shahumyan department of communication, the Vanadzor office of Haypost. If the law bans pasting campaign posters in state or local administration buildings, places of public catering etc., he should be forbidden to do that too. Our goal is that the law is not violated, if it is in force, it should be in force for everyone,” Arpine Martirosyan says.
