The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Leader Gave 10 Garbage Trucks and 10 Snow Blowers to Gyumri During Samvel Balasanyan’s Campaign Meeting

September 07,2012 17:58

Today the last campaign meeting of Samvel Balasanyan, the PAP candidate for the mayor of Gyumri, in which Gagik Tsarukyan, the PAP leader, participated, took place in Theater Square of Gyumri accompanied by a concert. “Folks, I am here today, I haven’t come to assume anything, to use, to benefit, but to help and support, to make your hopes come true, to meet your expectations and to be able to ease your burden. I say to you today that for my part I give to the town of Gyumri 10 cars that will do cleaning, will move garbage and 10 tractors that will also clean the streets, will remove snow. I give them to the town of Gyumri as a gift and it will always be the focus of my attention, because Leninakan, don’t get me wrong, is a nice, colorful and beautiful town, which needs to be reconstructed, in order that there is a smile on people’s face, that one is happy, strong, is not anxious, when one wakes up in the morning, is filled with hope and faith, does housework or goes to work, that it will be better tomorrow, feels that people care for him.

“The leader, who is with the people, cares for the people, is the people’s leader. Who doesn’t care, is not with the people thinks of himself, I will meet with the residents of Gyumri again in a few days and I will have another good surprise. We will meet in roughly 20-25 days, I will tell you about that surprise gift to the residents of Gyumri,” Gagik Tsarukyan promised.

He repeated his idea that a working man shouldn’t be poor, shouldn’t be ashamed of his wife and children and our people needed justice, competition, opportunities and conditions, only then we could have a powerful state, a growing economy and a prosperous family once again.

“Who can do that should do that, who cannot do that should give way to those who can, so that the people feel appreciated, protected, so that the people don’t leave, emigrate. One must be able to work, create, provide for one’s family in his country and one needs conditions, opportunities and competition for that,” the PAP leader said.

By the way, he hardly managed to escape from the poor residents of Gyumri who had gathered outside the theater; a lot of women socially unprotected, in need of medication and food came to see Tsarukyan in person and ask him for help. However, after the speech, the bodyguards hardly managed to take him into the theater building and put him into the car outside the entrance. Nonetheless, the bodyguards were compelled to take a huge package of letters addressed to the PAP leader.
