In order to see the Minister of Defense, the mothers of soldiers who had died in the army under peaceful conditions split into two groups today – one group was standing outside the main entrance and the other outside the rear entrance to the Government Building.
Outside the rear entrance, the protesters “ran into” Ara Nazaryan, the Deputy Minister of Defense. They showed to him the new facts discovered in regard to their sons’ deaths and then passed him a letter addressed to the minister.
Later on, the protesters approached Aghvan Vardanyan, the Attorney General of the Republic of Armenia, who was coming toward the Government Building. “May I tell you something, Mr. Attorney?” one of the protesters said to the attorney, but Mr. Hovsepyan passed by without responding or turning. Police officers blocked the protester’s way.
