Today representatives of the Swedish Armenian community organized a protest outside the Hungarian Embassy in Sweden. The protesters expressed their discontent with Ramil Safarov’s being extradited and heroized.
The Swedish police allowed the protesters to hold the protest a bit far from the embassy, on the opposite side of the street. They permitted only three people to hand the letter of protest to the embassy.
The sound of chanting “Shame on Hungary,” “Don’t support a murderer,” as well as Armenian duduk, could be heard not only by the Hungarian Embassy officials, but also the officials of all other embassies in the vicinity.
