September 18,2012 15:53

Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan was drawing during the consultation convened by the President of the Republic of Armenia the other day, by the way, it can be seen in the video after 1:50 minutes. www.aravot.am tried to find out why he had drawn during the consultation. “I was not drawing, I was making notes. That information doesn’t correspond to the reality,” Aram Harutyunyan replied in this manner. When we reminded the minister that it could be clearly seen in the video and many Facebook users had asserted it too and said that he had done something not more important than the President’s speech, Mr. Harutyunyan said, “The hell with those who say that. I was listening very carefully and making notes.” www.aravot.am also inquired of Mr. Harutyunyan at what stage the process of public purchases of this ministry was, whether there were kickbacks mentioned by Serzh Sargsyan during the discussion and whether they were going to solve the issue, the Minister of Nature Protection said, “We don’t have such big purchases and our ministry makes very few purchases. We have instructed the nonprofit government organizations subordinate to us to give information, what we have. As for the purchases, our ministry, we do everything transparently, in accordance with the law.”

In response to our observation that perhaps that was the reason why the Minister of Nature Protection had not been nervous as opposed to other ministers, perhaps his conscience had been clear, that was why he had drawn, Mr. Harutyunyan didn’t admit that he was drawing some graphic turning the paper upside down, “I was making notes, I didn’t draw anything.”

Mr. Harutyunyan is the third person from the left in the video and it can be clearly in the video after 1:50 minutes what the Minister of Nature Protection was doing.
