“Robert Kocharyan, the second President of Armenia, is a strong man and if he deems appropriate to participate in the upcoming presidential election, of which there is no talk, he will. I don’t think that he will have a task to be or not to be the joint candidate in that case,” Vardan Bostanjyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and a former member of the National Assembly, said about the opinions on announcing Robert Kocharyan as the joint candidate of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the PAP.
He also expressed an idea that there could be no negotiations between the ANC and the PAP and added that there might be negotiations between individuals, “I can say nothing specific on this matter.”
