“We cooperate with all political forces, the goals of which coincide with ours. In this case, we want reforms, unfalsified, free, fair, transparent elections; we want a change of government, in order that the government doesn’t have the possibility of reproduction and stagnation. If the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) agrees with us in this context, let them
make that proposal. The ANC does what it does and if it has supporters, we are ready to cooperate with everyone, but the Rule of Law Party (RLP) and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA),” Lyudmila Sarrgsyan, an ANC MP, said during a conversation with www.aravot.am.
As for the news about cooperation between the ANC and the PAP, she said that there was no negotiation, there was no cooperation, “If there had been such a thing, I would have been informed. It is virtual, it is a subject exaggerated by the world of journalism. They have to increase tensions, I understand journalists. They publish analyses and articles by an instruction or they try to frighten us with Robert Kocharyan or they try to spoil us comparing with Kocharyan. How can the ANC bring Robert Kocharyan back or contribute to that, given the fact that the events of March 1 are not solved yet and that blood is on Kocharyan’s hands. This is backbiting and discredits the Congress.”

We inquired of Ms. Sargsyan whether Ruben Hayrapetyan’s judgments could possibly reflect the sentiments inside the government, “Ruben Hayrapetyan is not aware what goes on in the RPA, he doesn’t have the qualities to understand how many wings there are in the RPA. How can he assess the situation, let alone draw conclusions about the RPA and the PAP? If serious people talked and expressed a grounded opinion, one could think of it, but one just has to neglect such people’s opinion and draw one’s own conclusion.”
