During the meetings of journalists in Georgia, Azerbaijani journalists informed us that people in Azerbaijan treated Ramil Safarov diversely. They said that when Ramil Safarov’s trial started, in order to support him, a bank account was opened, which would accumulate the contributions. The money of that fund had to be spent on hiring a good lawyer for Safarov and paying for his mother’s medical treatment. However, only 300 dollars were contributed to that fund from all Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani journalists informed that at the beginning of the trial in Hungary, Safarov had been defended by a counselor from Azerbaijan who had done that at his own initiative.
