Today Sergo Karapetyan, the Minister of Agriculture, literally lost his temper, when the journalist of www.henaran.am tried to ask him a question after making a report on budget. The journalist inquired of the minister whether the progress in the field this year was thanks to the fruitful work or God’s blessing (more detailed here).
The minister lost his temper, grabbed the journalist’s recorder, ordered to turn it off and quivered with rage saying, “They should pray for YOU, YOU, to save you, to make you a real Armenian Christian.” In response to an observation of www.aravot.am that the MPs with their sharp questions hadn’t make him as angry as the journalists had done, the minister said literally trembling with anger, “God’s blessing, church… what does the church have to do with it, why does this girl always repeat that? That is why I did that.”
