An Orange computer center opened in Ditak village of Ararat region

From now on a modern computer center furnished withOrangebroadband Internet will be at the disposal of the 86 schoolchildren of Ditak village school, in Ararat region.

The newly opened computer room of Ditak school is equipped with 4 computers, Orange Flybox 3G router and comfortable furniture, which will provide the school with the possibility to not only organize properly the computer lessons, but also use these technologies in teaching of other school programs and be connected with the world. For the implementation of this project Orange has allotted total AMD 1.5 MLN AMD.

Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO said: “Modern technologies develop with an uncredible speed, and their usage in the everyday life allows not only to make easy people’s life, make distances shorter, but also stimulate social, cultural, scientific development; it’s also a very important tool in organizing modern education. Orange is a telecommunication company, and the objective and the mission of our job is to bring the modern communication means to everyone. This computer room will allow to have access to computer and to internet to all those children who cannot afford it at home.”

This initiative of Orange was implemented in the frames of the strategic program of support to sustainable development of vulnerable communities, which aims to boost and support social and economic development of these communities and make them fully benefit from the high technologies.
