Today Štefan Füle, the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, talked with protesters gathered outside the Government Building before meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister. He asked the mothers of servicemen who had died in the army under peaceful conditions what they were protesting against. “We said that our soldiers were killed in the army under peaceful conditions. He asked, ‘In Karabakh?’ I said not only in Karabakh, these children had been killed by their own commanders inside the army… he stared at me shocked,” Nana Muradyan told www.aravot.am.
The mother of one of the servicemen gave Mr. Füle her open letter addressed to the Armenian Attorney General and Minister of Defense, which was translated into English.
