Ruben Hayrapetyan, a former National Assembly member, talked about Garegin Chugaszyan, a member of the the Sardarapat movement initiative group, and ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan, a member of the Vahe Avetyan civil initiative, in the scandalous interview given to Nouvelles d’Arménie Magazine saying, “They will see what it means to terrorize.” Hayrapetyan also stated that they were financed by Gagik Tsarukyan and were carrying out his instructions.
Let us note that Hranush Kharatyan and Garegin Chugaszyan filed a petition in the trial court of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts for compensation for damage inflicted on the good name, honor, dignity and business reputation. Judge Aida Davtyan will preside over the civil trial. Ms. Kharatyan told www.aravot.am in this regard that she expected nothing from the court, “There is just no other way of talking with Ruben Hayrapetyan… I cannot talk and discuss with Ruben Hayrapetyan anything without having the court as a mediator.”
