Karen Avagyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group and the coordinator of the Armenian Youth Foundation board of trustees, wrote a status on his Facebook page today, in which he talked about the decision of the Prosperous Armenia Party parliamentary group, according to which the parliamentary group would participate in the next 4-day session on October 22-25 and would return to the parliament. Naira Zohrabyan, the secretary of the parliamentary group, stated yesterday, “We will necessarily participate, since the National Assembly floor is very important for us.” Therefore, the RPA MP notes in his Facebook status entitled A Question to Our Colleagues Attaching Importance to the National Assembly Floor, “Wasn’t the National Assembly floor important while discussing and adopting the report on the 2011 state budget. I think that this boycott was related to not participating in the discussion of the 2011 budget. They couldn’t criticize, since they supervised 40% of the budget, neither could they avoid criticizing, since they struck the alternative pose. And the Oskanian case was of secondary importance as always.”
