“No comment will be made on the meeting of the political council today either by any MP or by any member of the political council,” Naira Zohrabyan, the secretary of the PAP parliamentary group said during a conversation with www.aravot.am.
Let us remind that the PAP convened a meeting of the political council today. The leader of the party has been absent from Armenia recently. Yesterday he came back.
There are already different comments on different websites that the issue of the 2013 presidential election was discussed, Tsarukyan called on his fellow party members to prepare for a struggle, speeches were made that the time had come to negotiate with opposition parties, in order to consolidate forces. In response to a question of www.aravot.am whether there was a grain of truth in those publications, Ms. Zohrabyan repeated, “No comment.”
And Tigran Urikhanyan, the press secretary of the PAP, said that there had been merely working discussions and nothing unusual had happened.
