“I think with regard to the reasons for withdrawing from the ANC that it is untimely to talk about that at the moment. Only the fact that I am a member of the initiative group of the Mission Party shows that I see an opportunity to realize my ideas here from now on. The ANC will remain an integral part of my biography, where I have very close and dear friends whom I have known for a long time,” Manuk Sukiasyan (in the center), a former member of the Alternative political initiative, which is a part of the ANC, said to www.aravot.am today.
In response to our question whether he had a problem with realizing his ideas in the ANC, Manuk Sukiasyan said, “I think it is inappropriate to talk about that any longer, there hasn’t been a very important problem, a problematic thing. I just think that I should engage in politics in this format. The ANC has been a serious school for me, I have known respected people for quite a long time, they are and will be people respected by me.”
As for the ANC presidential candidate, M. Sukiasyan added, “Taking into account different formats of cooperation, one may think that the ANC might not have its own candidate.”
