The meeting between the Free Democrats and the PAP, which took place in the office of the Free Democrats Party and lasted for an hour, has just ended. Vartan Oskanian and Naira Zohrabyan from the PAP and Free Democrats Party leader Khachatur Kokobelyan, Anush Sedrakyan and Alexander Arzumanyan from the Free Democrats Party participated in the meeting.
Naira Zohrabyan, the secretary of the PAP parliamentary group, called the meeting “one of the most productive ones” during a conversation with www.aravot.am and informed: “We see an opportunity to draw up a really serious political agenda between political parties in the country before the presidential election. Our meetings will be continuous, since the Free Democrats also proposed a few topical issues, which are acceptable for us too. Meetings with the Free Democrats and a few other political forces will be continuous and will lead to drawing up a serious political agenda, which is necessary for making systemic changes in the country.”
We inquired whether they had found common ground, Ms. Zohrabyan replied, “There is common ground on many issues not only with the Free Democrats, but also with other political forces.”
