“Gaspari Got It Wrong; Am I a Dictator?” Levon Zurabyan Says

November 22,2012 20:29

“Who? Me? I have forbidden? I?” Levon Zurabyan, the Armenian National Congress (ANC) coordinator, said this in response to an observation of www.aravot.am that the ANC talked about struggling for democracy, human rights, but he had forbidden an ANC member to express his opinion about Gagik Tsarukyan on a poster. This is about Vardges Gaspari.

Levon Zurabyan assured: “Such a thing has never happened, never. I am sorry, but I cannot believe that Vardges Gaspari has said something like that.” When we informed Mr. Zurabyan that there was a recording, a video, in which Vardges Gaspari tells how he had urged him to take Gagik Tsarukyan’s photo off the poster, the ANC coordinator said: “It couldn’t have happened that I told him… I told him… how could it have happened? I haven’t said such a thing, and he has taken it off. So I don’t understand, does he consider me a dictator? I haven’t said anything like that. I am sorry. Perhaps, he got it wrong. I haven’t said such a thing, because it is none of my business. I have never gotten involved in such things.”
