“Khosrov Harutyunyan’s political role doesn’t let him express an opinion on serious subjects with that kind of a tone, so ambitious and, so to say, ‘irreversible,’ moreover, give advice stemming from that opinion. Firstly, he is not the man who has the right to advise on that subject, secondly, to a figure like Tsarukyan,” Tigran Urikhanyan, the PAP spokesperson said to www.aravot.am, talking about the piece of advice given to Gagik Tsarukyan by Khosrov Harutyunyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group today “Don’t interfere, this is not your struggle.”
Mr. Urikhanyan also added: “The fact that leader Tsarukyan hasn’t announced his decision yet, but an insignificant politician like Khosrov allows himself to advise a politician of Mr. Tsarukyan’s caliber in this regard gives me a reason not to condescend to comment on that phrase.”
Let us remind that K. Harutyunyan expressed an idea today that the PAP shouldn’t have undertaken a task of participating in the election at this stage: “Political rationality demanded that making a very bold decision, the PAP shouldn’t have formed a coalition, should have played its own political role and should have avoided the temptation of interfering in serious political challenges. I would give Tsarukyan the following piece of advice – do not interfere, this is not your struggle.”
