“One mustn’t arrest a child without parents for an offensive word,” Kima Ghazaryan, an ANC supporter, complained during another protest outside the Attorney General’s Office today, talking about ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan who is in prison.
According to her, there is a particularly bad attitude toward the ANC supporters: “We cannot use public transportation, if we are from the ANC. My grandson went to get a job, they said go and demand a job from your grandma. Let your grandma not complain…, and they didn’t give him a job.”
Another ANC supporter brought two pumpkins today with captions “The illegal government’s prosecution is like a pumpkin” and “I swear to God, I am not a pumpkin” and promised to bring 66 pumpkins corresponding to the number of National Assembly MPs to the next rally.
