Aram Karapetyan, the leader of the New Times Party (NTP), always makes predictions and boasts during conversations with journalists that all his predictions prove correct. It is known that he likes to bet on elections, presidential elections too. Therefore, when www.aravot.am asked him whether he was going to bet on this presidential election too, Aram Karapetyan said abruptly: “I don’t bet anymore.” As for why the NTP leader has given up on this habit of his, he explained in the following manner: “Because I have clearly realized that there is no need for any bet anymore – the presidential election will bring about change.”
Let us remind that Aram Karapetyan bet with Aram Abrahamyan, the editor-in-chief of Aravot, 8 years ago, in January, 2004, that there would be a snap presidential election and lost the bet – 1000$.
