Gevorg Melkonyan, the Republican deputy of the YSU rector, claims that no one, including him, is engaged in politics in the university. He personally will never allow the student to engage in politics in the university, “I will not allow.”
In response to a question how he would forbid students to engage in politics in the university premises, the deputy rector said “Within the law.” In response to another question whether there were many Republican students in the university, Mr. Melkonyan said: “I don’t deem appropriate to answer your question.”
