ArmComedy has prepared a series of resemblance photos in which famous people of our country resemble world-known actors, famous people, even cartoon characters. According to the photos, Robert Kocharyan resembles Robert De Niro, Gagik Tsarukyan resembles Iosif Kobzon, Hayk Babukhanyan resembles Ilham Aliyev with his moustache and appearance. Today www.aravot.am inquired of Hayk Babukhanyan whether he saw any resemblance between him and Aliyev. His answer was more than interesting, “If they compared me with the president of a normal country, I wouldn’t, so to say, worry about that. Anyway, I don’t worry, let Aliyev worry. It means that there are some Armenian genes among Aliyev’s genes.” In response to our surprise whether the Armenian gene was a bad thing, so he should worry, the MP tried to correct: “No, he should worry as the President of Azerbaijan in the sense that he has Armenian genes.” Babukhanyan himself doesn’t see any resemblance in appearance between Aliyev and him. We tried to clear up whether he didn’t resemble with
the character either, whether he had, say, inclinations to heroize Safarovs, he said that he hadn’t examined Aliyev’s character and couldn’t say whether they were alike or not. In response to a question whether he saw any resemblance between Gagik Tsarukyan and Kobzon, he said: “Generally, when they say that this kid resembles… I don’t know, that grandson resembles this man etc…. I am not good at those things. Women find resemblances more often.”
