Sos Gimishyan, a member of the ANC, considered ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan’s conversation with Vartan Oskanian, a Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP, to be immoral and said that Zurabyan’s move was expectable for him.
“It was an expectable thing; such things happen very often,” Mr. Gimishyan said to www.aravot.am.
Talking about the part of the conversation, when Zurabyan says that both Nikol Pashinyan and Bagratyan intended to destroy the PAP, we quote, “Look, it will be very easy, if, say, Levon is not nominated; they will start to look for a tactic that is needed. Both Nikol and Bagratyan will put forward a very clear program, they will say let’s do everyone in,” Mr. Gimishyan said: “Whom would they do in? How can one talk about his own colleagues like that? Are Nikol Pashinyan and Bagratyan barbarians? I was also against taking a common position with the PAP, because it is not trustworthy for me, the PAP has never been an opposition. I described all that in one word, I consider it immoral.”
Mr. Gimishyan is surprised at the fact that Mr. Zurabyan talked about the events of March 1 during a conversation with Oskanian. Let us remind that Mr. Zurabyan said: “…we can cut deals with the PAP; although they are also involved in the events of March, there are some issues, we had better separate them from the regime.”

“A person who is a supporter of cooperation with the PAP should surely describe the events of March 1 that way. I don’t want to comment, it makes a disgusting, repulsive impression,” Mr. Gimishyan said.
As for Zurabyan’s observation that they (he means Bagratyan and Pashinyan) will work inside, government supporters and those who have left the ANC – Aram Sargsyan, Davit Shahnazaryan and others – will work from outside, Mr. Gimishyan stated: “He talks about his colleagues as if about enemies. He has waged a war on his own team. Whom does he serve, whose instruction is he carrying out? Everyone’s true face is revealed sooner or later, how long can one conceal lies and fraud? As the saying goes – for 40 days. I am sorry that he is the most trusted person of the president in the ANC. After all this, the president should decide what status he will enjoy, whether he will continue to be the coordinator. There is no mechanism of expulsion in the ANC. If there was a possibility to expel, perhaps, they would have expelled me, Nikol Pashinyan, Bagratyan, all those people that they don’t like, whose opinion they don’t share.”
