Aram Harutyunyan, a candidate for president, stated yesterday that money was already being distributed in headquarters. “I will not name names, because that person will have problems. I have heard that information; it was said by one of the leading Republicans.”
In response to Aram Harutyunyan’s statement, Hovhannes Sahakyan, the secretary of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group, said to www.aravot.am: “First of all, let me say that such a statement is absurd, and I would suggest that the candidate who makes such a statement not conduct his campaign based on black PR like this. If there really are such observers, let them inform in case of having facts, we will be consistent, otherwise, I consider this as an unsuccessful black PR action,” Hovhannes Sahakyan said.
