Police officers restrict people’s movement

Police officers met Raffi Hovhannisyan in Spitak too and started to intimidate those gathered through a megaphone that the rally was not authorized, and those who participated in the rally would be held accountable. Moreover, police officers started to film the faces of the people gathered. Raffi Hovhannisyan got angry and asked Lieutenant Colonel Chobanyan, the police officer with the megaphone, to give the megaphone to him, so that he could give him an answer. At first, Chobanyan did not agree and didn’t want to give the megaphone. After insisting a few times, Raffi Hovhannisyan took the megaphone and said that he hadn’t organized a rally; he was just meeting with the people, a right to which he had. After exchanging a few words with the people, Raffi Hovhannisyan left. Now we are heading to Vanadzor. By the way, according to our information, police officers have blocked the roads from the neighboring villages, so that people couldn’t come to the meeting with Raffi Hovhannisyan. In particular, they restrict the freedom of movement of people from the village of Darpas. People are coming to Vanadzor on foot.
