An hour ago, a group of citizens started a protest outside the Embassies of France and Italy in Armenia and handed over their letter of protest to the ambassadors. In the letter, they expressed their disappointment with the assessments in the congratulations the presidents of their countries had extended to Serzh Sargsyan on the presidential election. One of the activists, Vahagn Minasyan, told journalists that two police officers had pulled him about on the way to the Italian Embassy and took away his poster. He showed his hand and said that the police officers scratched his hand and didn’t allow him to approach the embassy. Then activists moved to the Russian Embassy, after which they are going to continue the demonstration outside the French Embassy to see the French Ambassador.
