According to the final results of the presidential election in the Republic of Armenia made public by the CEC, out of 1 million 521 489 voters – i.e. 60.18 percent of those who had a right to participate in the election – 3520 people – i.e. 0.24 percent – cast their votes for Arman Melikyan, a candidate for president. In response to a question of www.aravot.am how he would assess these results of the election, Mr. Melikyan said: “I don’t have an assessment of it; I said in advance that the election was rigged. And those are rigged results of a rigged election.”
