Students in Kapan Don’t Strike; They Congratulate the Reelected President

While students of the universities in the capital city went on a strike yesterday, students in Kapan, gathering in the backyard of the Kapan affiliate of the State Engineering University of Armenia at the expense of the long break, congratulated the incumbent and reelected president, Serzh Sargsyan today. According to Rudolf Sargsyan, the chairman of the Davit Bek Vows youth NGO council, the aim of the joint event of the NGO and the student councils is to congratulate Serzh Sargsyan reelected as president of the country by a large margin according to the official results of the Central Election Commission, and the participants in it were students of different academic institutions in the regional capital. Professors also attended the gathering. “The youth of Syunik congratulated the newly-elected President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, today. This gathering of the youth proves that the youth of Syunik have always been, are and will be united, will stand by those people who will lead them to secure and peaceful Armenia,” Rudolf Sargsyan said.
