As we have already informed, Raffi Hovhannisyan’s hello campaign in Artashat today was conducted in a heated and tense atmosphere. Police officers and some people in civilian attire filmed people who had attended the rally one by one, zooming in and catching their faces.
Before Raffi Hovhannisyan came, during Anahit Bakhshyan’s speech, people in civilian attire were filming secretly, hiding behind posts. Then, realizing that they couldn’t avoid being noticed by so many journalists, they started to do it obviously, making those present angry.
Following that “film crew,” we tried to film them, but their boss, Ashot Galstyan, started to curse the journalist of www.aravot.am, which is recorded on camera and urged the one who had been filming: “Shoot, you shoot her too.”
Later on, when journalists inquired of that mister whether he was from the National Security Service (NSS) and the one who had filmed was his employee, the latter denied, saying that he was an ordinary citizen. Ashot Galstyan also denied in Raffi Hovhannisyan’s presence that he had cursed journalists, assuring that it hadn’t been him.
