He is convinced that even if Sedrakyan has any connection with the case, he can be only the second link. “The first ones were the tilers; let him be the second link. Therefore, the shoe pinches somewhere else; one should find that place.” Mr. Yeghnukyan thinks that the revelations in the case of the assassination attempt describe a primitive scenario. “I think this is an intention to turn it into a three-ring circus. What connection is there between a tiler and an expert in epic poems? They wanted to turn this into tragedy or what? If they succeed in turning this into a three-ring circus and don’t find where the shoe pinches, this will become a subject of mockery, which is very serious. Anywhere around the world, if an assassination attempt is made on a candidate, that election will be declared void; they will not move on, until that problem is solved. And the state will announce that the election is postponed…, it didn’t happen, the election proceeded; it is like buffoonery. It is hard to say in whose interest it is, who the director is.” Talking about the fact that Hayrikyan’s health had deteriorated, Mr. Yeghnukyan said: “The gunshot wound has healed; it is not a problem. However, there are consequences; the nerve has been injured. Now they try to treat the nerve through 8 separate procedures.”
