Animator Naira Muradyan handed in her resignation the other day and left the State Institute of Cinema and Theater. She was angry with the fact that the doors of their institute were deliberately locked when students were striking. Ms. Muradyan said in an interview that her move had nothing to do with politics. www.aravot.am inquired why she had handed in her resignation, despite the fact that she had been loved by students, particularly given the fact that she didn’t connect her move with politics. “What does politics have to do in a college? If it is a paid system, and the student pays for getting knowledge, what right do they have to close the doors and deprive him of freedom? This has nothing whatsoever to do with politics. In this case, politics is like roguery in our country,” the animator replied.
