The resident of Artic took the bribe, but voted for Raffi Hovhannisyan.
Before Raffi Hovhannisyan’s rally started in Artik, an old resident of Artik confided during a conversation with www.aravot.am that 5000 thousand drams for each vote had been handed out in Artik during the presidential election. In response to our question whether he had taken, he said with a giggle: “I took it and marked Raffi.” When we asked him to say the same thing before the camera, the resident of Artik got afraid. “You will get me caught.” Looking at the camera lens, he said that the election had been held very well, quite properly. In response to our question what he was afraid of or what he might lose, he said: “The town hall may cut water.” Talking about the election bribe later on, he confessed in the video: “Wouldn’t you take, if you were me?” Pointing to those gathered, he assured that everyone had taken, not only him. Furthermore, the resident of Artik said: “Last time they handed out 15, this time they reduced it to 5000.” We cleared up what they had said while handing out, whom one had to vote for, the resident replied: “For the ruler, Sargsyan.”
