A short while ago, a serious clash took place between police officers and young activists. The police officers used brute force against those gathered – pinioned their hands, pushed them to the crossroads of Demirchyan Street and Baghramyan Street, toppling people to the ground. They pushed journalists too. When I said that I was a journalist and I was doing my job, they didn’t pay attention and pushed. As a result of the squash and falling, my hands started to bleed, and my clothes were pulled about. Police officers are shouting that it doesn’t matter, if they say go, I must go. Lieutenant Colonel Karen Movsisyan pushed and toppled one of the activists to the ground on the street. He was almost run down by a car, since they hadn’t held up traffic. Zaruhi Postanjyan got angry because of his pushing the activist, Karen Movsisyan justified himself, saying that he had saved him from being run down by a car. At this moment Postanjyan and the activists are waiting for Raffi Hovhannisyan to join together. The police officers have surrounded the part of the street leading from the crossroads of Baghramyan Street and Demirchyan Street to 26 Baghramyan.
