Answering journalists’ question whether he was ready to announce his candidacy for President of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Urikhanyan, the leader of the Revived Armenia Party, stated: “The approaches, the opinions, lastly the conception and the ideology of the party led by me is absolutely in line with the people’s longings, wishes, and goals as well. The party is taken on the task of consistently, purposefully, and steadfastly implementing those very longings, wishes, and goals.”

Armen Ashotyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia, stated during a consultation in the building of the Shirak regional administration that the problem of the homeless would be solved in the next 5 years. Then, answering journalists’ question, he said that he was always ready for constructive dialogue with all political forces, but he expressed regret at the fact that some oppositionists didn’t wish to act in accordance with the law, and law-enforcement bodies were compelled to put them into custody. Opposition websites concluded from that speech that the regime was in panic.

Making a speech at an opposition rally, Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the National Revolutionary Front, stated that the regime that had seized power continued to rob the people, the country was actually occupied by the Ashotyan Gang; therefore one had to start the national struggle for independence. “You will not get away with that,” the orator promised, “you will repay the people all that you have robbed, every last penny of it, and you will sit in jail.” Those words aroused great enthusiasm among those present at the rally. N. Pashinyan also predicted that there would be unprecedented fraud in the upcoming presidential election, and it would be the most disgraceful one in independent Armenia’s history.

Garnik Isagulyan, the leader of the Mher’s Door antiterrorist NGO, made a series of interesting revelations about the Persian-American and Arab-Israeli secret services, which collect compromising information on the Armenian elite, and then turn it over to the governments of Norway and Iceland.

The 76th volume of Artashes Geghamyan’s collected works, which is entitled “The Armenian-Russian Strategic Alliance: History and Prospects,” has been published. The author explains why one should extend the agreement on the Russian military bases for 150 years.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) stated that as of January 15, 2023, 642 778 voters were registered in Armenia. However, the opposition claims that the number of voters is almost twice exaggerated.
