The commission chairman of polling place no. 7/26 located in the Daniel Varuzhan School, Malatya, took illegal actions on the election day. After 8 p.m. when the doors of the polling place were closed and commission members tried to focus, in order to get down to the vote count, they suddenly noticed that the commission leader had opened the safe, had taken out the unused ballots and a pair of scissors and was destroying them in a corner by himself. When commission members noticed this, a fight broke out: “Why are you sitting by yourself? I might not trust you. One should follow the procedure, bro, cut it out! This is arbitrariness. Bro, I don’t want us to be tried, cut it out! Let the whole commission sit down and cut them. What are you doing?” one of the commission members complained.
The commission chairman offered a unique interpretation of the law: “This is the law; after closing the polling place, the stamps are collected, and these are destroyed.” The commission member resented: “Bro, let all of us sit down; what are you doing?”
In the end, after destroying a few bundles of ballots, the commission chairman shifted to a transparent and lawful work style. The rest was done in front of the eyes of the commission members and poll-watchers.
