On May 23, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the NagornoKarabakhRepublic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Fizuli direction.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as representative of the OSCE High Level Planning Group Mick Dolan (Ireland).
From the opposite side, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Jiri Aberle (CzechRepublic) and head of the High Level Planning Group Pavlo Shamayev (Ukraine)
The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the cease-fire regime was registered.
