According to Ashot Manucharyan’s Information, the National Assembly Has Already Adopted 6 Statutes Regarding the LGBT Community

May 24,2013 10:47

According to the information of Ashot Manucharyan, a member of the Karabakh Committee, the foundation for European integration is already being laid in Armenia. “The basic documents and statutes that are required are statutes concerning the LGBT community. Our parliament has already adopted six statutes; the latest one was adopted on Monday. According to that statute, a human’s sex is not a natural phenomenon; it is a social phenomenon. A human himself chooses his sex. So if a young man is offered to join the army tomorrow, he can say that he feels like a woman. That statute was adopted by our National Assembly; that package continues now. The Ombudsman proposes, they mask it with gender issues and stuff like that and keep people’s sensitive hearts away from simple interpretations,” Mr. Manucharyan said during a conversation with us, then added, “if our guys say that there is such a thing, the European Union will be on top of the world. Being democrats, they ought to say: ‘The salvation of the Armenian people is the LGBT community, these four categories – lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transvestites.’ When they talk about NATO, that’s the armed LGBT they talk about, when they talk about the EU, it’s the embodiment of the LGBT they talk about.”
