“Now you ask me about one of inadequate manifestations of authorities. From my point of view, what was he supposed to do»,- answered the leader of “New Times” party Aram Karapetyan to the question of Aravot.am whether Galust Sahakyan’s position was justified as to the words that emigration ‘does not scare me’ and ‘manna is not falling from anywhere”. Viewing the problem more generally, Mr. Karapetyan mentioned, – “The authorities of Armenia have inadequate attitude towards the issues. It is not coming from the fact that people are cynical and bad, today’s government does not know what to do. Its policy is totally destroyed. Either, they should admit and say that the elections were conducted in a bad way resulting in a formation of a government, which is of no use and new steps are required, or behavior themselves as before: laying everything on the public. In Russian it sounds like: с особым цинизмом (translator’s not: ‘with special cynicism’). I think this is not going to have a good end. The time will come when they will respond”. We got interested whether while making such statements G. Sahakyan was not thinking about the time for the response. A. Karapetyan answered,- “Only a man in inadequate condition may declare itself an opposition. In policy, it is called two-folding, schizophrenia. What C. Sahakyan says, becomes one of the manifestations of political schizophrenia”.
