Today, the assault case against the Union Leader Paruyr Hayrikyan that took place in January this year is continued at Kentron and Nork Marash General Jurisdiction Court. The victim Hairikyan does not hide the fact that evidently an order has been made against him, and that the defendants Vardan Sedrakyan, Khachik Poghosyan and Samvel Harutyunyan are just a small screws.
During a break of the court session, in the conversation with Aravot.am Hayrikyan did not hide his conviction, given that the publication of Oleg Kuznetsov’s “1977 Moscow bombings response” this year on February 11. The author of the publication referred to the United National Party founder Stephan Zatikyan’s case who was well known by the state security agencies, who, according to the author, had been a friend and a supporter to Paruyr Hayrikyan. The Russian author presents Hayrikyan that in 1991-94 he was an active participant in the Karabakh war, a member of Parliament, a leader of the Nationalist Party Union and a candidate at the Presidential elections on February 18.
The author, whose words were addressed to the Russian political circles, wrote: “On February 18, presidential elections will be held in Armenia, in which Paruyr Hayrikyan state is going to be one of the candidates for the position of head of the government, the supporter, confederate, friend and close relative of Stepan Zatikyan, the life of 7 and blood of 37 citizens of the Soviet Union is on his conscience, whose tragedy was that he turned up at the wrong time in the wrong place. Whether Armenia will ask forgiveness from Russia during its reign for causing grief to its citizens on January 8, 1977″ (the author is referring to the Moscow metro blast case – R. M.).” According to the author representing the Russian political circles, electing Hayrikyan the as a president, if, of course, it happens, will question further maintenance of the Russian-Armenian traditional friendly relations, “because every healthy thinking person understands that for continually 4 and a half decades a politician who was openly nationalistic and was considering the Russian people a chaser of Armenians during all these years, can instantly become a sincere friend of the Russian Federation.” According to O. Kuznetsov, Russia and Moscow have the right to demand publicly apologize
during taking the office of the newly elected president of Armenia (meaning Hayrikyan) and depending on the fact whether Armenia will apologize or not, build further relations between the two countries. Considering Hayrikyan a carrier of anti-ideology, O. Kuznetsov wrote,- “Public authorities should expand the Federal Law No. 272-Ф3 dated December 28, 2012 not only to the U.S. citizens, but to all foreigners, and above all the officials and public figures of the Republic of Armenia, if they do not publicly condemn on behalf of the state, political or public organization led by them or by their name the terrorist acts carried out by United National Party militants.”
