“I realize and understand that the military Prosecution Office is not unconcerned, but conducts more directed investigation. I do not exclude that there is a corpus delicti in the same prosecutor’s statement”,- so replied the Deputy of “Heritage” faction Zarouhi Postangyan to the question of Aravot.am as to what trend do you see that the MD Investigation Service has postponed discussing the motion on recognizing Army Colonel Artak Budaghyan as a victim who was injured from the firearm on June 2 near the house of the former Syunik governor Surik Khachatryan, and, moreover, the military prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan stated that it is not excluded that A. Budaghyan is involved as an accused. On the contrary, Z. Postangyan has the following opinion: “Taking into account all the facts and what happened, and all what we have at the moment, I think that Artak Budaghyan had to be involved as a victim. The victim’s family should be given the status of legal successor of the victim.” We got interested as to what possible developments scenario is outlined. Mrs. Postangyan answered,- “We should not talk about predictions. One thing is clear: the victim’s successors, as well as Artak Budaghyan, must fight because in this wrongful country where the priority of the law is almost absent, you may get your rights only by struggling.”
