Today, Margarita Khachatryan, chair of the “Zinvor” NGO had come to express her support to the mothers of soldiers who were deceased in the peacetime army, gathered in front of the Government building. They, however, did not meet Ms. Margarita particularly warm, leaving her standing in a corner. Mothers dressed in black were angry that Margarita Khachatryan having her son killed in the army, too, does not join the action, and even calls on them to refrain from protests, assuring that the military Prosecutor’s Office will disclose the cases. Today, Aravot.am inquired from Margarita Khachatryan making a protest alone in front of the Government building as to why she decided to join the mothers of deceased soldiers now, especially since her son’s murder case has not been disclosed for more than ten years. “The parents’ of deceased soldiers think that I was able to disclose my son’s case and I am not helping them to disclose their sons’ cases. On hearing the military prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan’s statement that a commission is created to disclose the criminal cases of 2011, I would like to remind him that if the cases of murder of 1998 were not detected, one of which is my son’s case, that so far I have not been able to identify, how he will explain that he will disclose the cases of 2011″.
