Combination of facts that speaks about a Moldovan lawyer of being a lobbyist of Azerbaijan

July 05,2013 20:56

It has been two days that the scandal happened yesterday at the National Assembly is actively debated, when the Moldovan parliamentary lawyer Aurelia Grigoriu announced from our podium that the Khojaly massacre was committed by Armenians and so on. The speech of the lawyer, who is also the ombudsman of the Republic of Moldova, was qualified as “an order”, as “an explicit performance of Azerbaijani lobbyism” and so on. Media expert Samvel Martirosyan published in his blog many Facebook records of Mrs. Grigoriu that referred to her love to Azerbaijan. For example, she is calling Baku a favorite city, and so on.

Aravot.am inquired from S. Martirosyan whether these facts are sufficient to talk about the Moldovan lawyer of “being sold” to Azerbaijan. He answered,- “We can not directly accuse the man that she has been sold, as we do not have the facts. But there is a combination of three facts. The fact that during the last one and a half month she was writing in her own Facebook page more about Azerbaijan than Moldova, although she is a defender of human rights in Moldova. The second is that she has actually connected her speech with a conflict, with which Moldova has absolutely nothing to do. Finally, the fact that she was literally, like memorized, repeating all the theses of the Azerbaijani propaganda. Combining all these three together, we can say that she is at least an agent under the influence of Baku. Or she is doing it for money, or has received a gift, or has just a terrible enthusiasm towards Azerbaijan, are secondary issues.” We were interested in how to use these facts correctly. S. Martirosyan

replied,- “At first the public should understand that we are dealing with a biased person. Just the Moldovan society should realize that their ombudsman pokes her nose into such places where she should not poke taking into account the fact that Moldova is also a country that has unresolved conflict. Whatever we do, Azerbaijanis can find someone like this.”
