The longest hot dog in Armenia

On July 18, in the evening, “Bacon Product” company organized an event at the Lover’s Park, where the longest, fourteen-meter hot dog of Armenia was prepared. To the point, on July 18, 1957, the month of July was officially declared as an International hot dog months, and in the United States July 18 is celebrated as a hot dog day. Before the event start, the attendees were distributed the company badges, flags and numbers, according to these numbers, it will be decided who will cut and cover the hot dog with ketchup during the event. According to the head of production Martin Pichikyan, the hot dog was prepared in just seven days, it weighs twelve kilos, and fifteen kilograms of raw materials was used (pork and beef) and twelve employees of the company worked on the hot dog.

During the event, fast hot dog eating contest was held, where individuals above sixteen could participate. The winner of the contest received a gift of a digital camera. The event ended with a hospitality treatment. Although fourteen-meter hot dog was gone, hospitality was still continuing. Many of the attendees welcomed the idea. – Finally, such event took place in Armenia. I hope that similar actions will continue in Armenia. – I did not know that there is such a thing, my friends informed me, it is interesting to see this ceremony beyond the screen with you own eyes. Let’s hope that this event will contribute to writing the name of the food correctly at the stores, food stores and fast food outlets.
