The potable waterline of more than 58 km long stretching from Gizhsar and feeding November town is not functioning now, because the water reservoir basins accumulate little water due to the heat of summer. Water pumped out from the deep wells of village Berdavan and supplying city of Noyemberyan is hard. Residents of Noyemberyan city complain that they have found pieces of stone and soil in supplied water, and calcareous sediments occur in water containers. A few years ago “Lusatsir” NGO in Noemberyan launched a chlorinated station in Noyemberyan, but it is not functioning, and supplied water is not chlorinated. The residents of multi-apartment buildings in Noyemberyan receive water for a few hours a day, in the morning and in the evening. We asked the head of “Noyemberyan” branch of “AWSC” Garnik Mamyan how many hours a day the residents get water pursuant to the contract concluded with them. He said that it is not specified in the contract, that half of the residents of Noyemberyan, residents of houses, have 24-hours water supply from other water springs.
