A few days ago, referring to the question of “Aravot” as to how your love for people is expressed, the leader of the Republican faction, MP Galust Sahakyan answered: “You’re your own business! Now are you going to get into my personal phenomena… “and so on. Such a harsh answer reminders of the former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and the developments around him. In the period of 1992-2010, Yuri Luzhkov being on the head of Moscow over 18 years, left accompanied by scandalous stories, his wife’s brother was imprisoned, then jailed. Luzhkov, who committed many abuses, in response to the questions of the journalists, threw like Galust Sahakyan: “Russia is not the country where the head should make excuses.”
Being harsh with the journalist, Galust Sahakyan and Yuri Luzhkov are alike with regard to avoiding answering the question. Luzhkov hold the office 18 years, this year marks the 18th year of Galust Sahakyan’s parliamentary activities. Again, Galust Sahakyan and Yuri Luzhkov are alike. It is well known that many things in Armenia are done following the example of Russia and vice versa. For example, ordinary citizen is not respected in Armenia, and the Armenian ordinary citizen in Russia is not respected either. Or, ordinary citizen in Russia is sick and tired of “Gazprom”, citizens in Armenia are also dissatisfied with the arbitrary increase of prices of gas. I wonder what it would be in Armenia like in Russia or should be, so that the ‘parade’ of similarities between Galust Sahakyan and Yuri Luzhkov continues longer and longer.
